i think i'm having this health problem,Nocturnal Lagophthalmos nk sebut berbelit2 lidah


what is that?
Nocturnal lagophthalmos is the inability to close the eyelids during sleep.


let see some info about it :

• Most people who sleep with their eyes open cannot enter REM (rapid-eye-movement) and tests have been done on rats that proove without REM the rat dies shortly.

• Sleeping with one’s eyes open can be an indicator of several other nerve and muscular problems.

• With incomplete lid closure, your eye is constantly exposed to the drying effects of outside air, as well as to dust particles and debris. This may result in chronic corneal inflammation (keratitis) and scarring.

• Your eyes will also become glassy and irritated.

my own experience :
u will never know that u sleep with widely-opened eyes until people tell u first..
when u are sleeping, u feel like ur eyes are already closed,but the truth is not..
it happen everytime i sleep,even during day
and it really makes people around you feel creepy~
